"Props" in the Lagoon
So after Memorial Day weekend left me propless, the good people at C & K Marine Service in Orange BeacH (Ask for Karen, tell her Jason sent you) got me back up and running today. Hit Little Lagoon at about 5 pm and picked up my buddy Joey on the south shore. After sea testing the new prop, 2 new spark plugs, and a thermostat, we settled into some fishing.
Joey struck first blood--17.5"
Then it was the Game Fish's turn--21.5"
But the Game Fish was not done, finally caught that big trout I've been searching for all year...24.5"
Again, thanks to C&K Marine in Orange Beach for helping find a prop and getting me back on the water quick!
