Another Decent Day On The Bay
Samuel and I cleaned up again on the flounder. We were both using Gulp 3" shrimp. Samuel caught all of his using Pearl White shrimp. I used the Natural shrimp. We started fishing about 7:30 a.m. and quit at noon. We were fishing on Mobile river close to the pass.

I am a fan of some Gulp products. I haven't used bull minnows for about 2 years. Too expensive. Gulp are pricey, but for me, they are cheaper than bulls. I use either a 3/8 or 1/2 oz. Arkie Jig head -- non painted, while fishing it just like I would a bull minnow.
I caught a 20" flounder today. No pic.
Can't wait for June to get here. That's the month that I really have success for flounder.

Here I am in my brand new 1980 Terry Bass 440 cm w/60hp Johnson. All original equipment including me. lol
That boat has a loooong history. Purchased in 1980 by my papa, sold by my brother, went to Tennessee w/new owner, and finally came back to me. No bs.

The Pass is located between Pinto Island and Little Sand Island. Most of the best fishing is on the north end of Little Sand Island. There are also many places along the Mobile river that are good for all varieties of fish. Just look for boats in the area. Hope this is helpful. Good luck fishing.
