Bon Secour 3-25 -09

Me and gamefish went and did some night fishing on the Bon secour the other night. It started off fast with gamefish landing a good speck at the first hole. Then.....well lets just say we had plenty of time to get to know eachother. For the next couple hours we tried a few lights early and turned up empty regaurdless of how many hits we had and shrimp we lost. There were bait fish everywhere, jumping around and there were swirls and top water hits everywhere but nothing wanted anything we had. Head back up river and i finally hook up with a redfish that was too small. Then gamefish hooked up again and against his own advice tries to flip the fish superman style into the boat, she came off bounced off the rail and laughed as she hit the water. Oh well. Last couple of lights produced nothing, and we headed home. Had a great time anyway. Keep yer lines wet.
