Bon Secour 4 21 09 Great time!

Me and Mrs Redfishkiller went out about 11am to beat around the river. Had some live shrimp and poppin corks to battle with. Right off the bat the Mrs gets a nice slot red, and right after she had a big one on that broke the line!!! Thought it was gonna break her pretty pink pole. Several dolphins came in and trashed bait fish about 15 feet from the boat, an amazing spectacle. Needless to say we headed on down a little. Stopped at a spot we haden't caught fish in since last Oct. and got into a mess of trout. She got a couple that were just under sized, I found a couple that were perfect size. Just when it started to lull my cork sank and I hooked up with a really nice speck 22" and fat, my biggest one to date, sad to say. The wind was really starting to kick up, we were out of shrimp, and we had definately caught dinner so we headed back. Weather was beautiful except the wind but a great day on the river, the Mrs. even got to feed a pelican.

You are awesome posting all those pics, gulfcoastgamefish has been whipping my butt for a long time and now it looks like you will to. Hopefully gulfcoastgamefishwill take em and put em on shirts and coffee mugs and I can buy them and pretend that I am you. At least they haven't taken Oprah off TV. I feel used.
