Headed out to the big water from Ft Morgan about 4 pm and we were fishing by 4:45. We were lucky to have some sho'nuff fishermen with us in the Father-Son team of Vic & Hunter. All four were using live pinfish at first. After about 15 minutes with no hits changed to frozen cigar minnows. It was go time. We caught fish for the next 3 hours till we caught our limit. Then changed to squid on a circle hook and caught one triggerfish. Very good trip for leaving the dock around 3:00 and being back by 8:00. Many beers were had. Just wanting to run the boat a little and maybe pick up a fish or five we trolled down towards GS with skirts and spoons. The skirts didn't produce so we switched to #0 Capn Action and caught a nice Spanish. After one more Spanish we picked up a bonita . We headed back towards the pass and fooled around out by the buoy and picked up a couple of small kings. One was put to the knife and the other released. Not what some would call a great day, ...
